Cognitive Design is organized around a workflow canvas where you assemble components, connect data flows, and compute results.
Layout at a glance
- Top bar: project actions, templates, settings, help, plus quick access to Project Manager and Media Manager and a Search components field.
- Left sidebar: the Component Library, grouped by tabs and sections (Compute, Import/Export, Conversion, etc.).
- Center canvas: the main workspace where you build workflows (nodes + connections).
- Right side: contextual panels such as the Design Explorer (DX), expandable to full screen.

File
Create or open projects and subprojects, save your work, and manage cache and recent files.
Templates
Templates provide ready to use workflow starters, so you can start from proven structures instead of wiring everything from scratch.
Settings
- General: A dedicated Save Options entry lets you choose how 3D models are stored with the project (helpful to control project size). Use the Show Beta Features toggle to expose experimental components. Use the Prevent Power Sleep toggle to avoid entering in sleep mode during active computations.
- Display: Theme selection (Light, Dark) with the possibility to enable or disable the Grid. Use the Snap to Grid toggle for precise component placement.
- Optimization: Chose the default voxel size you want to use in your project.
- Keybindings: Customize all the shortcuts.
