⚙️ Installation steps

1. Check the system requirements: Cognitive Design - System Requirements
2. Update your drivers (GPU, CPU).
3. Run the installer as Administrator.
4. Follow on-screen steps (Next → Next → Finish).
5. Launch the software (first start may take longer).

🔑🆕License activation (FlexNet) —> New in version 2.2.1 and newer

For Node-locked license:

1. Once installed, copy the FlexNet host ID shown at first launch and please send it to your CDS representative.
   • This step is important, as the key is required to generate a license file linked to your computer (node-locked).
2. You will then receive a .lic license file.
3. At the welcome page, upload the license file and validate.

For Floating license:

For Floating licenses, you have 2 choices:
